Enrichment Credits

The Credits page is available to Owners only.

Purpose: Enrichment Credits let you look up more information about a contact from a phone number or street address on their record, so you can fill in missing contact details.

Path: Settings > Credits

How Enrichment Credits work

Open a contact in the Sure Send web app and enrich one of their phone numbers or street addresses. Sure Send uses that data point to look up additional details, such as other phone numbers, email addresses, and validated address details. Before the lookup runs, you'll see This will use 1 Enrichment Credit. Continue?

Uses Enrichment Credits

  • Each phone number you enrich: one credit per lookup.
  • Each street address you enrich: one credit per lookup.
  • Lookups that find little or nothing: a lookup still uses a credit once the lookup service responds, even if it returns little or no new information.
  • Running a lookup again: enriching the same phone number or address again uses another credit.

Does not use Enrichment Credits

  • Viewing results: opening enrichment results you already have is free.
  • Lookups that fail with an error: if the lookup service does not respond, no credit is used.

Good to know

  • A record needs a phone number or a street address to enrich. Email-only records cannot be enriched.
  • Enrichment runs one phone number or address at a time, in the web app. It is not available in the mobile app, as a bulk action, or in automations.

If your Enrichment Credits run out

The lookup does not run, and you'll see You need at least 1 Enrichment Credit to enrich this phone number. (or this address). Nothing is queued or retried. Add credits on the Credits page, then run the lookup again.

Refunds

You are only charged once the lookup service responds, so a lookup that fails with an error never uses a credit. Credits are not returned for lookups that come back with little or no new information.

Buying Enrichment Credits and expiration

Enrichment Credits are not included in Sure Send plans. You buy them on the Credits page as you need them, and purchased Enrichment Credits do not expire.

Enrichment Credits on your Credits page

  • Credits Breakdown: the Enrichment Credits card shows how many credits you have available.
  • Your Credit Types: the Enrichment Credits card shows the cost per credit, your current balance, and the Buy Credits and Auto Top-up buttons. Empty means you have no credits left. Low means you have fewer than 100, or you have reached your auto top-up threshold.
  • Recent Transactions: each lookup shows as a usage line, such as Phone number enrichment for followed by the number, or Address enrichment for followed by the street.
